Privacy policy

Short version: we do not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. We do not sell or share your personal information. If you email us, we use your email only to reply.

Who is responsible

What we collect

• Emails you send us. Your email address, name if you give it, and the content of your message. We use them only to answer you and keep them for up to 24 months, unless the message relates to a correction we published, which we keep as a record.
• Technical logs. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes your IP address and request data to deliver the site and protect it from attacks, under its own privacy policy. We do not use these logs to identify or profile visitors.

We do not use cookies, local storage, fingerprinting, analytics tools, advertising pixels or social media plugins. Fonts are served from our own domain. There is no cookie banner because there are no cookies.

Links to vendors

When you click a link to a vendor, you leave our site. The vendor’s own privacy policy applies from that point. We do not pass your personal information to vendors, and we receive no data about what you do on their sites.

Selling and sharing

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined in the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). We have not done so in the past 12 months. We do not process sensitive personal information. Because we neither sell nor share, there is no “Do Not Sell or Share” link; we also honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals by default, since we have nothing to opt you out of.

Your rights (California residents and others)

California residents have the right to know what personal information we hold about them, to have it deleted or corrected, and not to be discriminated against for using these rights. We extend the same rights to everyone. To make a request, email contact@retaradar.com from the address you used to contact us; we may ask for details to confirm it is you. We respond within 45 days. You may use an authorized agent, who must show written permission.

Categories of personal information we collected in the past 12 months: identifiers (email address) and the content of messages you sent us — only if you emailed us. Source: you. Purpose: replying to you. Disclosed to: our email provider, which processes it on our behalf.

Children

The site is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Security

The site is served only over HTTPS. Email is stored with a reputable provider with access limited to our editors.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
